All (well, maybe most) of Your Questions Answered
-
Do I have to go to all of the events or gatherings? Not at all! Of course, everyone would love to see you as much as possible, but we know everyone has different schedules and obligations. But please RSVP if you plan to attend any of the scheduled events so we can notify the venues and plan accordingly.
-
How am I going to remember classmate names? At the formal event on Saturday evening, everyone will be given a lanyard with name tag. Hopefully we'll use a large enough font size to see from a distance! On Friday evening, at Buddy and Pals, we will have the more informal "Hello, My Name Is" sticky labels to help you out.

I've never been to one of our reunions. Why should I go?Honestly, none of us know if we'll be around for another one... It's understandable some classmates have no desire to relive or remember their times at Andrean. But reunions have a way of removing all of the perceived barriers of high school life. We find that all of us have changed in some degree and that maturity has brought us some peace in our present and gratitude for our past. Whether it's loyalty, curiosity, or a trip down memory lane, we hope you'll take the opportunity to reunite with people who were part of your daily life for four years. We're pretty sure you'll be glad you did.

But, but I'm balder, fatter, slower, etc. etc.As we all are...come out anyway. It will be a great time.
-
How long will the golf outing take?Since it's a scramble format, we should be a bit faster than normal but plan on at least 4 1/2 hours of riding in a cart, hitting memorable shots, waiting for the beer cart, and laughing far too much. The group usually gathers one hour before the scheduled tee time for a meet and greet and a group photo. Most of the group will head over to the social event right after the tournament or, if the weather is brutally hot, hopefully 'freshen up' a bit before going to Buddy n' Pals.
-
I am not a good golfer, can I still play? The professional tour is not scared of losing their careers to any of the golfers in this group. This event is open to all levels of playing ability and a good time is guaranteed. So come on out for some great laughs and fresh air.
-
Do I pay for golf ahead of time? No. You will pay at the course. We encourage you to sign up early though because this should fill up fast! Please. With this event having a limited number of openings; it's important that 'sign up' also means 'show up'. Don't leave your foursome short a player especially if others had to be turned away.
-
How many golfers are expected?Traditionally this annual event draws anywhere from 20-30 players. Most are from the Class of 1975 and we do draw alumni from other class years and even a few from other schools. We do try and be nice to the Wirt and Wallace grads. This year may bring in a few more. At this time, our golf committee of Jim McConnell, Mike Daugherty, and Dave Barrick have reserved slots for 40 golfers (10 foursomes).
-
Should I sign up or just show up?Well, you won't be turned away if you just show up to the bar, but we would like to encourage sign-ups only to give the venue an idea of how many people will be there and they can then staff accordingly.
-
How can I see which of my classmates have signed up for this event? As RSVPs roll in, the reunion committee will update the list of attendees under the Who's Coming page of this website. Check back often to see the listing.
-
Will there be food available?Yes! Buddy n' Pals offers a full menu of items that you can look at here.
-
What time will the social start and end?We have told the venue that guests will begin arriving around 6:00 p.m. You can arrive any time after that and if you're really hardcore, you can close the place down at 3:00 a.m. but remember... ...you have another event Saturday night!
-
Can I pay for another ticket/dinner at the door? All guests must have a ticket purchased for this event prior to June 20th, 2025. All meals and seating arrangements are planned ahead of time with the caterers and the staff at Innsbrook Country Club.
-
What is the dress code for the banquet event? We want you to be comfortable! Think business casual and perhaps 'dress to impress'. Jeans are acceptable but without excessive holes or tears. We encourage you to avoid baseball caps and t-shirts with questionable logos.
